About Us

In 1989, MIL Industries Ltd. sprung up as a leader in manufacturing corrosion and abrasion-resistant linings for Chemical, Fertilizer, and other Process Industries, both in India and overseas.

MIL was set up in collaboration with the Société Chimique de Gerland in France, and also enjoyed the technical know-how from the Ohji Rubber and Chemicals Co., Japan. It is India’s largest and most advanced rubber lining facility. Later, MIL began manufacturing an extensive range of fluoropolymer-lined pipes and fittings, PTFE expansion joints, PTFE-lined Dip Pipes, Spargers, Thermowells, Plain/Corrugated PTFE hoses, and more.

MILIA, the MIL Fluoropolymer Division, was initially set up in collaboration with M/s. Fluorocarbon Company Ltd., UK. MILIA’s processing facilities and technical capabilities are at par with the best products in the International market.

MIL’s well-equipped R&D Division is continuously developing new and improved formulations to cater to increasingly demanding operating conditions. We are actively and selectively seeking technical know-how abroad for updating technology and bringing it on par with international standards.

MILIA, the newest subdivision of the company and the PTFE factory, is located in Ambattur in Chennai, and Gummidipoondi, about 45 kms from Chennai, with an in-house fabrication facility.

MILIA’s Gummudipoondi unit is a self-sufficient factory which boasts modern Machineries, a Skilled workforce and a Reliable supply chain, helping us full-fill the needs of our happy customers.

It is a flexible unit that adjusts operations based on project requirements in order to meet schedule. An advantage with flexible operations is the ability to assist clients with New product development. MILIA’s capabilities and expertise with PTFE products has resulted in this facility producing high-quality products to Pharmaceutical, Agricultural and Petrochemical industries for over 3 decades.
